Amazon's wristwatch AI heard 'out of soap' and it's in your cart. It only suggests, but it heard. Bee Frontier ($74.99) and Bee Eclipse ($99.99) launch today with the Amazon.com link.

Amazon launched two new Bee devices on 2026-10-15: the Bee Frontier, an always-listening AI wristband/clip ($74.99, on sale today), and the Bee Eclipse, a credit-card-sized unit that magnetically attaches to a phone ($99.99, coming soon). Both turn conversations into summaries, to-dos and reminders. With the Bee Pro subscription ($11.99/month) and the opt-in Amazon link, Bee surfaces items you mentioned in conversation before you forget, as product cards on the Amazon homepage. Amazon's own pitch example is buying the dish soap you said you'd buy; The Verge's is cat litter your spouse asked for. Amazon says audio is processed in real time and deleted, and that no audio is stored. Nothing auto-buys anything: 'in your cart' and the six mugs are the card's exaggeration, not the feature.
The real news
The story, straight
Amazon launched two Bee devices on October 15: the Bee Frontier, a $74.99 always-listening wristband, and the Bee Eclipse, a $99.99 card-sized unit that clips to your phone. Both turn conversations into summaries, to-dos and reminders.
With the $11.99-a-month Bee Pro plan and the opt-in Amazon link, Bee surfaces items you mentioned as product cards on the Amazon homepage. Its own example is the dish soap you said you were out of.
Nothing auto-buys anything - it can only remind you, in front of a shop.
The absurd
Why this is ridiculous
'We're out of soap' - and it is in your cart. Well, almost: Bee cannot press the button, but it is now standing right next to it, holding the soap.
You said it, it heard it, and it has a link. That is the new definition of 'remembering for you.'
The breakdown
How it breaks down
The trick is not the microphone. Audio is processed in real time and deleted, and nothing is stored.
What survives the call is the to-do list. That is why 'I mentioned we're low on soap' becomes product cards: it is a reminder that happens to have a storefront attached.
The hardware is a leash for the list.
The upside
Why it could matter
The honest upside: a to-do list that restocks your house is one of the few AI features that solves a real chore instead of creating a new feed. The line to watch is 'suggest' versus 'buy'.
Today it suggests. The moment that line moves, everybody is buying things by accident and calling it convenience.
