The real news
The story, straight
A mouse click tells an app what you picked. A touchscreen lets your finger do that job directly.
Apple's first touchscreen Mac has finally arrived, giving Lil'meme's finger the corporate approval it apparently lacked.
The MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display became available on 6 November 2026. The 14-inch starts at $2,899; the 16-inch starts at $3,399.
Its tandem OLED screen uses light-emitting pixels rather than a separate backlight.
The reversal supplies the joke. As 9to5Mac recounts, Steve Jobs called touchscreen Macs "ergonomically terrible" in 2010, warning that reaching toward a vertical screen tires your arm.
That was his position then, not Apple's position today.
But Apple hasn't retired the keyboard or trackpad. The review describes touch as secondary: useful for an occasional scroll, tap or zoom, not compulsory finger gymnastics. macOS accommodates touches within its existing interface rather than making every app a touch-first app.
Lil'meme is cutting a ceremonial barricade around the screen. His finger finally got security clearance; his shoulder has requested the afternoon off.
The useful upside is choice. Try touch for tasks where it helps.
Keep using the trackpad where it doesn't. A feature can be useful without becoming your entire personality.
Paul's token outlook, separate from the news:
Hardships are coming. I, the Big Dreamer, created this token to help the people.
I truly do see this token going up in value. Ride the rocket with me and let's see where the next 24 months take us.

The absurd
Why this is ridiculous
Fingers clear probation.
The breakdown
How it breaks down
Taps become clicks.
The upside
Why it could matter
Trackpad still works.
