The real news
The story, straight
A drone is a remotely controlled aircraft. Around airports, restrictions on where drones can fly help keep them away from other aircraft.
The Federal Aviation Administration sets those rules; the Transportation Security Administration was advertising the warning, not writing new rules.
According to DroneXL on 5 Nov 2026, TSA repeated the word 'drone' on X, then explained: 'Droning on about it…' Its follow-up warned about flying in airport no-drone zones and linked the FAA's 'Where can I fly?' page.
It was a deliberate pun. The post announced no drone sighting, arrest or attack.
Our visual joke: Lil'meme kneels over the post like an ancient scroll, searching for divine instructions when the actual instructions are about where not to fly. Apparently the forbidden fruit now comes with propellers.
The warning deserves attention without turning it into prophecy. DroneXL reports that the FAA's biggest proposed penalties against individual pilots involved repeated flights over months.
Those cases should not be presented as the automatic price of any airport flight.
The useful takeaway: check the FAA's flight guidance before launching. A controller lets you steer a drone; it does not grant permission to fly anywhere.

The absurd
Why this is ridiculous
Not a prophecy.
The breakdown
How it breaks down
Flight restrictions keep aircraft apart.
The upside
Why it could matter
Check FAA flight guidance.
