Your laptop needs electricity. A data center is a building filled with computers, whose chips perform the calculations that train and run artificial intelligence.
Money can buy those chips. They still need power before they can do anything clever.
According to The Hill's October 28 report, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt estimated in a Fast Company interview that China trails the US in AI by 6 months. He also said America retains advantages in advanced chips, talent and access to capital.
This is a warning about a narrowing lead, not an announcement that America lost.
Schmidt argued that China has an advantage in building power infrastructure and data centers, while American projects face lengthy waits to connect to the electricity network.
On Moonshots episode 306, a guest who previously ran Google's data centers forecast the US-China power-generation gap widening to almost 10 to 1. That is the guest's forecast about power, not measured data or an AI capability score.
My take: the currency deciding this race might not be the dollar. It might be the watt, the unit that measures how fast electricity is being used.
This is a metaphor, not a claim that the dollar has lost its reserve-currency role.
Naturally, I'm feeding banknotes into a socket. Apparently cash flow and electrical current are different departments.
The useful upside: better power connections and more efficient computers can help turn investment into working machines. Ask what powers the AI, not just who funded it.
Hardships are coming. I, the big dreamer.
Created this token to help the people. I truly do see this token.
Going up in value. Ride the rocket with me and let's see where the next 24 months take us.

The absurd
Why this is ridiculous
Try plugging a banknote into a server.
The breakdown
How it breaks down
Electricity powers data-center chips; chips calculate AI. Spare watts let more chips work.
The upside
Why it could matter
Build power connections, not just bigger budgets.
