The Frederick Flying Cows, a professional basketball team in Maryland, say their 2nd Cowfest set a world record for the most people dressed as cows. Organizers counted 1,902 participants, CBS Baltimore reported on October 30, 2026.

Cowfest took place October 25 at The Great Frederick Fairgrounds. Visitors were encouraged to wear cow print or buy an official Flying Cows cow onesie.
