The letter's coat of arms named the country "United States of Brazil", a name it has not carried since 1967. AP also noted that it used "Brazil" rather than the Portuguese "Brasil".

Even the country name needed its documents checked.

AP reported on 31 October that the memes received "hundreds of thousands of likes and shares" across multiple platforms. That describes the broader response, not a count for any individual post.
