Military.com reports that the Marine Corps has ordered Artificial Intelligence renamed Super Intelligence in new official writing, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The guidance implements a presidential executive order.

The crucial detail: the Marine message keeps the same legal definition of the technology. Security, privacy, purchasing and responsible-use rules also stay unchanged.

This is a terminology change, not a technology upgrade.
