DYLAN GETS LET IN

The real news

The story, straight

A private audience is a meeting with the Pope, not a concert with unusually expensive seats.

On 4 November 2026, Pope Leo XIV welcomed Bob Dylan for a brief private meeting at the Vatican. According to the Associated Press, Leo gave Dylan a rosary, a string of beads used in prayer.

Dylan gave him his autobiography, "Chronicles: Volume One."

Dylan wore a black hoodie with the hood up. The man behind "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" got let in looking remarkably uninterested in the dress-code conversation.

That's our joke, not something either man said.

There was already a musical connection: Leo quoted Dylan's unpublished 1963 protest song "Go Away You Bomb" in his 2026 book "Disarmed and Disarming: Peace Is a Gift," while warning against nuclear weapons. That does not establish what they discussed privately.

Then reality needed technical support. On 5 November, Snopes confirmed the Vatican photograph was authentic after people questioned whether it was AI-generated.

Apparently a hoodie now needs supporting documents.

The useful lesson: an unlikely-looking picture isn't automatically fake. Check who originally published it and whether reliable reporting backs it up.

Our Lil'meme scene is an imagined visual gag, not the Vatican photograph.

Hardships are coming. I, the Big Dreamer, created this token to help the people.

I truly do see this token going up in value. Ride the rocket with me and let's see where the next 24 months take us.
